Factor Defence exceeds expectations at Eurosatory 2026 and opens up new international opportunities
This first participation in the trade show provided an opportunity to showcase the company’s industrial capabilities to a highly specialized international audience and advance new avenues for collaboration
Hundreds of visits to the stand, numerous meetings, and new opportunities for international collaboration. That sums up Factor Defence’s first participation in Eurosatory 2026, the leading event for the defense and security sectors held June 15–19 in Paris. Over the course of the five-day event, Fernando Gastaldo Lázaro, Factor’s General Manager, and Ernesto Villanueva, sales manager, represented the company and showcased its industrial and technological capabilities.
The high turnout at the trade show, the large number of exhibiting companies, and the quality of the contacts made created a particularly dynamic environment for exchanging knowledge and forging new professional relationships. All of this allowed Factor Defence to far exceed its initial expectations, strengthen its visibility, and reinforce its position within the international defense ecosystem.
The event’s success also confirmed the market’s interest in Factor Defence’s value proposition. “This first participation has been highly positive and strategic. Eurosatory has allowed us to showcase our capabilities to a highly qualified global audience, strengthen relationships, and open up new opportunities for collaboration,” noted Fernando Gastaldo Lázaro.
A meeting point for the international defense ecosystem
During the trade show, the Factor Defence booth served as a meeting place for current clients, potential partners, suppliers, professional associations, and institutional representatives.
Visitors included representatives from the Ministry of Defense, members of the Spanish Parliament, and members of the Valencian Regional Government, as well as international delegations from ministries of defense and armed forces. Meetings were also held with representatives from ammunition and weapons systems manufacturers, primarily from Europe, Latin America, and Arab countries. The event also generated new contacts interested in Factor Defence’s solutions and industrial capabilities, with the potential to open up future avenues for collaboration and project development.
This diverse and highly specialized visitor profile reflects the global scope of Eurosatory and its value as a platform for identifying new needs, sharing capabilities, and establishing relationships with key industry players. The visitors’ origins and the scope of the meetings held further confirm Factor Defence’s international reach.
Interest in a comprehensive industrial proposal
Factor Defence’s ability to support customers throughout the development of a program has been one of the aspects that has generated the most interest among attendees. This offering covers the initial design, development, and prototyping phases through to large-scale production and final delivery, adapting to the specific requirements of each project.
“Customers are increasingly seeking partners capable of managing projects from start to finish. Our approach combines technical expertise, industrial capacity, and flexibility to offer a solution tailored to the needs and demands of each program,” explains Fernando Gastaldo Lázaro.
Capabilities for the full range of ammunition
Another key differentiator was Factor Defence’s experience in developing and manufacturing components for small-, medium-, and large-caliber ammunition systems. This versatility, combined with the technical expertise accumulated in precision machining and advanced manufacturing, makes it possible to scale production and adapt the industrial response to different volumes, phases, and requirements—from initial development through series production. This flexibility was particularly valued by attendees and enables Factor Defence to reliably handle highly complex projects.
New opportunities for Industrial Integration
The meetings held at Eurosatory have also made it possible to identify opportunities related to collaboration models that go beyond component manufacturing alone. The sector is showing growing interest in turnkey solutions that include supplier coordination, supply chain management, and the comprehensive execution of industrial programs.
This evolution opens up new areas of development for Factor Defence in industrial integration and complex project management, while enabling the company to move toward collaboration models with broader scope and greater responsibility.
A key step in the internationalization strategy
Participating in one of the industry’s leading global events has allowed the company to raise its profile in new markets, expand its network of contacts, and strengthen its position as an industrial partner capable of meeting the growing international demand for ammunition and related systems.
Europe, Latin America, and the Arab countries are among the markets where the greatest interest and the strongest alignment with the company’s capabilities have been identified.
Based on the contacts made, the next steps will focus on following up on the opportunities identified, consolidating Factor Defence’s presence in priority markets, and developing partnerships with manufacturers, integrators, and local partners.
The roadmap also includes continuing to develop this comprehensive collaboration model, maintaining a presence at international trade shows and forums, and strengthening the Factor Defence brand in strategic markets.
The value of participating with TEDAE
Participating in the joint exhibition space organized by TEDAE, the Spanish Association of Defense, Security, Aeronautics, and Space Technology Companies, has enhanced Factor Defence’s visibility and credibility, fostered synergies with other Spanish companies, and helped showcase the technological, industrial, and production capabilities of the national defense ecosystem on the international stage.
We would like to thank TEDAE for its work in promoting the international presence of Spanish companies and creating platforms that foster collaboration, visibility, and access to new opportunities.
Following this initial experience, we continue working to translate the momentum generated at Eurosatory into concrete projects and to consolidate Factor Defence as a global, reliable industrial partner ready to meet the requirements of the sector’s most demanding programs.
