Factor participates in the II Valencia Silicon Forum
El evento sitúa a Valencia en epicentro de la innovación en semiconductores y consolida su papel como foco tecnológico de referencia
Last week, Factor Ingeniería attended the second edition of the Valencia Silicon Forum, Spain's leading forum specializing in semiconductor talent.
Consolidated as a strategic meeting point, this event promotes national talent, connects professionals, students, and companies, and fosters an ecosystem of innovation between industry, academia, and public administration.
Participation in this meeting has given Factor the opportunity to see firsthand the state of technologies and the growing interest that national and international companies are placing in this sector.
The company is currently developing two innovation projects related to photonics and microelectronics: VIMAX (IVACE, regional scope) and FOTONIL24 (CDTI Misiones, national scope), technologies applied to the industrial field and, specifically, to the measurement of high-precision parts in real time.
In this regard, Alfredo Giménez, Director of Innovation, emphasized that “the fields of application for photonics and microelectronics continue to grow, in addition to being a strategic focus for innovation and defense policy”.
The outcome of the meeting is very positive, as it reinforces the visibility and positioning of technology companies. Giménez added: “For us, it is a privilege and a great opportunity that the Valencian sector, and the people of Valencia, have such an advanced technological focus in our own region”.
For his part, Fernando Gastaldo, CEO of Factor Ingeniería, expressed his gratitude to Valencia Silicon Cluster and València Innovation Capital - Ajuntament de València, for the excellent organization of the event and the creation of an international reference space”.
Gastaldo placed special emphasis on the work of FEMEVAL, a collaborator of the Valencia Silicon Forum, “for promoting the value chain of its members and supporting the opportunities that this type of initiative generates".
Factor also acknowledges the contribution of key institutions such as the University of Valencia, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure (Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration), the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation, the Valencian Regional Government, the Valencian Institute of Competitiveness and Innovation (IVACE+i), and the Business Confederation of the Valencian Community.
